70 minutes: Inspiring nutrition session with Registered Holistic Nutritionist Joy McCarthy

10 minute break

70 minutes: Rejuvenating yoga session with Certified Yoga Teacher Michelle Uy

 

WHAT WE TALK ABOUT?

 

You will be required to complete a weekly food journal to hand in. Each week we will take about 10 minutes at the beginning of class to review how you are doing.

BIOS – YOUR TEACHERS:

Joy and Michelle have been running the Eat Well Feel Well Program since 2010 to men and women of all ages.  This dynamic duo are passionate about nutrition and yoga and want nothing more than to share their love with you!

Joy McCarthy is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist & Health Coach. She has been inspiring and empowering people to make healthier foods choices with her writing for That’s Fit, MTV Canada, Naturally Savvy plus more, speaking to corporations on healthy eating and one-on-one consultations with clients from around the entire globe. She has a knack for taking complicated nutrition information and delivering it in a fun and easy going style that you will enjoy, have fun with and learn from.

 

Michelle Uy has been a yoga teacher since 2007 and received her training from YogaSpace, Toronto. She is Co-Creator of the Eat Well Feel Well Program, a 6-week program that combines the principles of holistic nutrition and yoga. Michelle has completed her 50-hour yin training with Bernie Clark in Vancouver and is also certified to teach Yoga Thrive, a yoga program specifically designed for cancer survivors.

Her classes are infused with inspiration and insight, giving students space to release and connect within.
